The Nunatsiavut Elections Officer is reminding all Beneficiaries eligible to vote in the May 1, 2018 election for Ordinary Members to the Nunatsiavut Assembly of Section 54.3 (b) of the Nunatsiavut Elections Act which states: “An elector shall not…. show his or her ballot, when marked, so as to allow the name of the candidate for whom he or she has voted to be known…” This includes all postings of photographs to social media which show a marked ballot. Advance Polls for general election set for April 23 News

Advance polls for the May 1, 2018 general election for Ordinary Members to the Nunatsiavut Assembly will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., April 23 in the Constituencies of Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Rigolet and Upper Lake Melville. Advance polls in Upper Lake Melville will be held in North West River and at the Labrador Friendship Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
