The Torngâsok Cultural Centre, LIA's
cultural affiliate, works to preserve, protect, promote and
advance Labrador Inuit language and culture. Through the aboriginal
language initiative, Torngâsok offers language camps and
other opportunities for Inuit youth to learn and speak Inuktitut.
As well, Torngâsok's Nain offices, its research resources
and its collection of heritage resources are available to the
public.
