Through working with our Community Governments, we ensure the infrastructure and programming is present for you to be physically active.

The department is responsible for supporting Community Governments in their efforts to assess and meet their recreation needs (infrastructure and programming). The department plays a coordination role, working with federal and provincial government and agencies to identify and access appropriate programs and services for communities.
